Enter Babylit. In a land of repetitively designed board books that are as interesting to adults as say, reading your utilities bill out loud, Babylit books will get you excited. Familiar, chunky cardboard with glossy finished prints, and quirky primers using objects or themes from some of your favorite classics (imagine the glory of a primer on opposites juxtaposing 18th century social classes). One can only hope it will instill an early affinity for the great works, but at the minimum these little readers will make you want to revisit them.
Also, they'll look darn good sitting on the shelf and popping out of the diaper bag. Because, guys, I'm pretty firmly against going anywhere without a good book, and I'm pretty sure Dr. Mike is too.
